How to create a clipart using Microsoft Word and Paint.
Step 1: Open Microsoft Word. Step 2: Select the clipart that you would like to add to your website. · Go to the top of the screen and select “Insert” and “Picture” then select “Clipart”. Step 3: If you want to add text you can add it here if you would like. I find it easier to add text in Paint. Step 4: Go to the top bar and select “Edit” and click on “Select All”. Step 5: Click on “Edit” and then “Copy”. Step 6: Click on the “Start” button. Step 7: Click on “All Programs”. Step 8: Click on “Accessories”. Step 9: Click on “Paint”. Step 10: Click on “Edit” and then “Paste”. Step 11: You can add text by clicking on the “A” button and dragging your mouse. Step 12: Click on “File” and “Save as”. Step 13: Give your clipart a name and save it to a file that you know where it is. Step 14: Now you are ready to upload the clipart into the OnCourse website builder. Step 15: Click on the “My Website”. Step 16: Click on the “Edit Section” button where you want to add the clipart. Step 17: Click on the “Image Manager” button. Note- It is the one with what looks like a mountain and a sun. Step 18: Click on “Upload Image”. Step 19: Click on “Browse”. You will have to find the file with your picture on your computer, CD, disk, or memory card. Note: Pictures must be under 200KB in size. You will have to use a photo editor to resize the photo. Step 20: Click “Upload”. Step 21: The picture will appear in the window. Next, click “Insert”. You can size the picture in the document at that time. You may also add text. Step 22: Click “Save and Close”.
