How to copy a column only in the lesson plan.

 

Note: This process can be used when sharing lesson plans and within your own lesson plan builder files.

 

If you are trying to copy and paste only a column from a shared lesson plan remember that person must type your number in to give you access to their lesson plans.     You can locate your sharing id # by clicking on “Sharing” in “The Planner” section.  It will read “My Sharing ID # _________”.  You must type the persons ID# in       the “Add Teacher” section and click add.

Step 1: Click on the “Change User” drop down arrow.

Step 2: Select the user that you want to copy the file from.

Step 3: Select the week on the calendar that you want to copy the column from.

Step 4: Move your mouse to the subject section of the lesson plans for the column that you want to copy (Spelling, math, etc…). You should see a small icon show up.

Step 5: Click on this icon.  This is the copy button to copy a column.

Step 6: Click on the “Change User” drop down arrow under the calendar.

Step 7: Select you name.

Step 8: On the calendar select the week that you want to copy the column into. 

Step 9: Move your mouse to the subject section of the lesson plans for the column that you want to paste.

Step 10: You will see three icons, copy, paste to column, and eraser.

Step 11: Click on paste to column.

Step 12: The text from the column should appear. You may edit the text in the cells now. This will not change the lesson plans in the other users file.
